Sold my car this past friday, started to call dealerships later that day letting them know I had the money for the down payment and ready to deal.

Later that night got a call saying someone backed out on a tC, silver, 5 speed, no options. Exactly what I wanted and it was available to me. Other dealerships told me at least a 4 week wait on just a tC alone, not promising it would be the one I wanted.

Picked up the car on monday. I'm loving every minute of it and getting tons of compliments as well.

Sounds like me. I've been waiting almost 2 months for my tC. I happened to talk to my dealership today after seeing they had a black automatic tC on their inventory list online. My salesperson looked into it and found out it was available, because someone's deal had fallen through on it, and that it's mine now.

I'm going down in a little while to do all the paperwork, let's hope there aren't any problems (like oh, the car was really already signed by someone else..).
