Default I might trade my TC in

so im thinking about trading my tc in for one of the following cars, 04 R32, 04-05 STI, 03-05 Evo, the reason the years are lower are because im still in college and its what i can afford. Ive always wanted an R32 but im not sure if its enough of an upgrade. that plus gass. gass on all three would be kind of bad. but im also not 100% on this yet i love my TC and it would be hard to part with. so give me some advice.

i say keep the tC for a little longer..then find one they will get a bit cheaper ...... i would just wait for now

thats what i am doing... i am able to trade my car in cuz i only owe like 9k.... but its not worth it yet.. cuz the Evo that i want is still 20k to much to repay around again

I've heard mixed things about the R32. And being VW, the maintenance will cost you out the ___ and probably kill you.

Do you need more of a daily driver, or do you need more of a track car? The STi is better to live with, the Evo is better to track with.

However, if gas is what you're worried about, stick with your tC.

i say get the evo. but depends how much your throwing down. if its too much then i say keep the tc and with that money boost your car and it'll beat an evo.

.I say just keep the tC if your worried about gas.

I know its not on your list but why not one of the new civic SI's? They get pretty good gas mileage and are a decent upgrade from the tC, and gas wise won't cost you much more, you have to get premium but the gas tank is smaller than the tC (I think?)

If gas were my concern but I still really wanted an upgrade I say go for an SI or hell you can even find a used s2k for pretty cheap.

Anyway, my .02..

just keep the tc, si's are ugly and are cars can beat it off the line. just throw a supercharger on and you re good to go. and you will have the same gas mileage as long as your not boosting around all day.

If you have to get an older one b/c that's all you can afford... are those the years you actually want of those vehicles? If you can't afford the one you want right now, why bother trading?

keep it for now. save up, then get what you want. or keep it for now, turbo it or s/c it, then you'll be beating those cars.

let us know what you decide

Here is why I say R32. People who own EVO's and STI's beat the dog ____ out of them 80% of the time. From what I've found with R32 owners is that they take care of them and use them in a conservative manner. You'll get more in the long run with an R32 than a beat on STI or EVO
