this is a very good option i might wind up doing this so i get a break from car payment when im dont with mine before i start the new one. i would rather get a new car again when i can afford it and im not to fond of the new sti, evo, or r32 so i might stick with the tc for now and boot it. thanks for all the input.

and as far as the si goes i dont feel like its enough of an upgrade for all the trouble if i could get a new si or tc i would go with the tc again.

Well said. I agree completely.
The list of cars you listed, I would never buy used!!! An AWD car used is a bad thing.

Take for instance a tC or CIvic or whatever FWD manual car. If the person beats the crap out of it, unless they ride the clutch, the transmission should be fine. No matter how hard they drop the clutch it will just spin the tires, and you can see bad tires.

Now take the EVO, STI, or any AWD car. If it is beat to crap you cant tell!! If they are out dropping the clutch everywhere, tires will barely spin and the engine, drivetrain, transmission, axels are going to take all of that force. And unless you rip the car apart before buying it, you will never know that the transmission has just 1000 miles left on it!!!

i never agreed with this type of logic.

YES, it may keep up or beat an evo, but it sure cant turn like one.

anyways, get the EVOEVOEVOEVOEVEOEVOEVOEVO FTW!!

r32's mantienece is gonna be some bills in the long run. get the MS3 it will leave the r32 in the dust and you have one of the most reliable cars 5 years running.

If your reasoning is because you're in college, you just need a reliable car. Keep the tC.

The only thing about Volks are the electrical issues. The wont last as long as a Honda or Toyota but they're not to far behind either.

i say save up and get the evo x. Thats what im doing since im in college too. I rather have a worthwhile car then buy something for a quick fix because of price. Im not a huge fan of used car unless they are low mileage ones.

keep the tC. Your still in school so dont sweat it right now. wait til ya have that degree and are making some mo money. But definitely stick with the previous model R32's that DSG is cool but wheres the fun of a manual. The new STi's are awesome. The new Evo's not so much so go for an Evo 8 or 9. GL with the decision though.

i did the same thing. i test drove an 05 sti over the winter and it was amazing. i loved every second of it. but i couldnt imagine paying 500 a month for 5 years with a trade in. plus insurance it wouldnt have been worth it.

I say evo, but as some said before people who buy used evos are buying evos that are pretty beat up. However, that said you're in college and trust me I don't know any college student that are stacked unless your dad is a fortune 500 ceo or something. At least I know i'm pretty beat ___ poor but my parent support me so. Get a decent job (50k+) before changing cars...
