You're best bet would be to keep it. If you trade ur car while it's not fully paid for. You will start your payments over from month 1 and you will lose all the payments you already sent in for the automatic tC. On top of that, they will try to buy your car off from you for like $10,000 dollars and tell you that it's not worth that much. They'll tell you that the 2006's are on there way so no one will pay you more than 10 grand since they might as well get a new 2006. I say stay with it, or give it to me : )

from what i hear, and i don't personally know, that it can be very hard to swap a manual and automative transmission, and also very pricey, almost as much as you would loss with a trade in. but i could be wrong. i have the same problem, but i have decided i am just gonna have to hold onto the automatic.

IDK about the tC, but with some cars the wiring harness may be different from auto to manual. So thats one more thing to consider when swapping trannys. Its probably not what you want to hear, but I would keep the one you have.

they may not be trading cards,
but if you can find someone with the same color, same mileage, and who happens to want to trade in a stick for an auto...you got a helluva lotta luck :-D
