I NEED HELP!!!!!!
Well its gonna be impossible to get an 07 xB... cause they dont make them.. only 06's
But here's a question for you. What do you want out of the vehicle your getting? Which one will better suit your needs?
The XB is good on gas....but lacks any sort of power....but has space....the TC isn't as good on gas...but has much more power....but not as much space.....it all depends on what you need out of your car......
I probably would have went with an xB had I really thought about it. Better mileage fo sho, nobody will even try to race you, put in a sweet sound system, a 15" sub and still have tons of space left... plus the adrenaline rush of taking corners on two wheels more times than any average person ever should... fantastic.
tC: speed, sunroof, solidly built, can't see out of it worth a damn, so-so mileage, back seat is a joke, trunk a bit small.
xb: slow, boxy, bit a tin-can feel, awesome visibility, great mileage, back seats are better than the front seats in some cars, good storage if you fold back seats down.
As an owner of one of each, I would rate them about equal to each other, but considering the xB costs less its a better value in price. As for insurance, the xB costs more to insure even though its a cheaper vehicle - claims history on it is getting pretty ugly, which says something bad (about either the car or its drivers, not sure which).

I hate to say it, but it's the drivers. I doubt I'm the first one to realize this so there's no point in ignoring the elephant in the room.
Toyota is specifically marketing the Scion line as "your first new car". I'm not really surprised that the number of claims is growing (if SL is any indication). It's pretty shocking the number of posts here at SL that are about stuffed up vehicles. And yes, the majority of *those* are in that targeted demographic.
