Default i SCRATCHED my center console

I was puting up my radar detector and the suction cup gave in. the radar fell onto the center console next to the shifter where the silver is and the paint fell off. I'm so sad now there is a black scratch mark it's not really a scratch it's just the paint fell off. Watch out guys the paint is thin. any1 know how much it would cost to buy a new piece?? and is that piece a single piece with the piece surrounding the shifter. This thing is gonna bug the hell outta me if i don't replace it.

are you sure it's not paint from the radar detector that got smudged onto your console?

how am i gonna match the color if i repaint it??? and i'm positive it's not the paint from the radar detector... i just removed the shifter surround that piece is screwed in so it's a seperate piece... hopefully it's not too expensive...

This is the opportunity to buy a polish steel or carbon fiber overlay for your radio cover. Or paint it a different color. =D

Put a sticker over it.
Even better buy and install the CF overlay

The first time I took my console out (with the HVAC controls and radio) I got a nasty scratch on the front of it from my shifter. It's really really delicate I'm thinking about repainting it or something like that.

Yes, the one with the ac controls in it, it hit the shifter when I took the cover off to remove the radio.
