If you have taking your dash off please look!
I just installed a new stereo in my tc and am having a little problem with my dash reassembly. For some reason my main dash piece is being a real b!tch to put back on. I dont understand why because it was cake to take off. There is a very small gap between the two panels where the stereo dash (silver piece) meets the main dash (black dash). Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks
Sounds to me like one of the retaining clips may be bent...
check all of the little metal clips and make sure they're pretty straight. then when you put it back on check all of them to make sure they clip into their correct contact points. I've had that happen in several different car's i've worked on.

wow, hmm, I just pulled mine in and out a few hundred times, I think youre goin to need another set of eyes to watch what it gets stuck on... or... put some Chalk on each clip, and see where each one of them leaves a mark on your actual dash. That way you can figure out which one isnt in sync. Goodluck
it might be your new stereo is sticking out a bit more than stock, which is causing your dash piece to not snap in fully. easiest way to check this is to remove your stereo and see if the gap is still there when you put the dash piece back in.
