If you have taking your dash off please look!
You have to slide the airducts in first, then work it down. It's tricky. It looks like your airducts are probably what is in a bind and keeping it from fitting right at the top. Also check and make sure there is nothing back there keeping it from fitting flush. If all else fails some pressure might get it to "snap" back in, just be careful.
Yup, slide the ducts together first, then slowly push it in. I had that happen a couple times to me. It's easily fixable.
