so any opinions on geting a shop to extend this thing out a tad more? If anyone knows where i can buy a cf heat shield please pm me the link, will be most appreicated. best i could find was this

http://www.motostrano.com/exhaustshield.html and some heat resistant tape..not really what I had in mind... im thinking if this exhaust can be extrended out a tad and the tip lowered an inch it may be fine.

Anyone know where to buy some rubber spacers for the hanger or the heat shield hit me up, unless you guys think the extension would be a cheap, wise route.

I have the Injen exhaust, now on without any lip kit, and i'm pretty low, and have no burning issues....i just had issues with the RS1 rear lip burning...but i have since taken it off.
Does anyone know if the lip kit from the dealer fits fine with the Injen exhaust...as in no burning issues?

Bro you are honestly worrying too much over this when its not a big deal at all by any means. I have the Injen SES exhaust as well, its pretty far from the bumper, and it wont burn your bumper. Relax and dont bother with a heat shield, if you want it for looks by all means go for it though.

i don't think it will be something you have to worry about... but if you want, get a shop to weld a resonator in. i had a shop weld two in for me and it pushed the pipe past my bumper. any local muffler shop or a tuning shop can do the trick.

I didn't read all the way through to see if you got this fixed or not, but I used a torch to heat up the exhaust hangers (red hot) on my Injen SES to adjust it to sit in the middle and about an inch, maybe an inch and a quarter, below the bumper. No problems with burning and looks much better.
