Inspired by a thread here....Painted my engine cover
After reading a thread here a few days ago, I decided to paint my engine cover. First, I scuffed the plastic with finishing sandpaper to give the primer something to grip. Then I did 2 light coats of Dupli-Color red primer, followed by about 3 or 4 very VERY light coats of Dupli-Color Ford Red. This ensured a rough crackle-finish similar to the Honda Type-R cars. I can't remember whose thread that was, but thanks.

As always, questions/comments/suggestions are always welcome.

400amonth, I used high-heat engine paint, so it should be fine.
Sal803, the cover is held on with 2 10mm nuts. After those are gone it just lifts right off.
