INSTALLED - K & N Typhoon Cold Air (56k warning)
I just installed the K & N Typhoon Cold Air Intake in my tC today and all I can say IT IS NICE. You feel a slight boost compared to normal when you first press on the gas. Installation was pretty easy, but I had to "modify" some parts of the instructions to get it to fit. The sound is of course a lot more throatier (especially when it hits 3K rpm) and you hear the air sucking in (like other CAI's). My TRD exhaust actually became louder after the install.
I'll post a sound clip tomorrow since my camera ran out of batteries when trying to do so today.

sweet. I'm thinking about adding a CAI, too. could you be more specific about having to "modify" some of the parts? and how long did it tak you to put it on? do you normally work on cars or could a noob do it easily?
edit: ...and let us know if you notice any change in your MPG. and could you take a pic of where the filter actually is? so we can see just how low it is, for those of us who live in rainy areas.
thanks

wow... it was only like yesterday or the day before that i even first heard about this product being out...
I am curious as well... what did u have to modify to make it fit? And does the diameter of the piping match well the diameter of the throttle body?

its nice..i put mine in today as well...u can feel a slight bit of boost when in higher rpm's when driving..pretty nice, didn't have to modify much..but the directions weren't totally specific/accurate..but ive done enough to know wut goes where, its very simple for those who aren't mechanically inclined
i got the blue instead of the silver...painted the intake tubes nice though

The wiring for the O2 sensor is suppose to be mounted to the side of the tube so it doesn't flap arround, but their diagram looked nothing like what I had in my car and my wires were too short to to reach the mount...I just used some zip-ties.
Also, one section required you to connect the tube to bracket to 1" vibration mount to car mount, but this left the tube too high to connect with the second tube. I had to leave the vibration mount off to the connect the tubes.
It's very easy to install and the time consuming part is the removal of the stock parts.
="tC_Dragon"]And does the diameter of the piping match well the diameter of the throttle body
