I'm assuming that you're installing the gen 1 dealer version AEM intake designed for the XA and XB.
Are you stuck or do you need OEM air box removal and AEM installation steps? I installed my own AEM dealer version on my XB, but it came with fairly easy to follow instructions.
1. remove battery
2. unscrew and remove MAF and VCV. Be sure not to touch or damage the MAF center sensor.
3. remove air box. top comes off, remove filter, unscrew 3 bolts in the bottom of the air box.
4. remove transmission bolt and replace with AEM transmission bolt while attaching main pipe.
5. loosely fit other piping on and adjust for clearance. tighten. go faster.

These instructions are VERY cursory and from memory. I may have left some things out.

 

where did you get your aem intake? mine came in a aem box and had install instructions in it from aem. contact them for install instructiions

 

Don't know if it will help, but here's the instructions to install a K&N CAI. I would have to think that some/most of the steps would be the same with the AEM CAI.
