Default interior light mod?

Has anyone changed the bulb in that small opening in front of the shifter? I think the white light in there is annoying. If so, what bulb did you use? Is it easy to switch?

A white light? If you're talking about the cubby hole underneath the HVAC, it should be orange. Is that the one you're talking about?

I forgot whats the bulb size, but its pretty easy to change. Just take out the trim piece around the shifter and then take out the HAVC.

It's the #74 bulb is what you're looking for. There are a couple of ways to change this.

1. Take out the trim as ricexizxgood stated.
2. On the Passenger side floor near the center console you should find a clip that holds the carpet in place. Pop that out to loosen the carpet. Now you can reach your arm back there and find the Cubby hole wires. GENTLY pull the wires out. Replace stock amber bulb with a color of your liking. Put it all back together in reverse order and you're good to go.
I chose green...

The bulb in the shifter is harder to change than the cubby hole. I hope this helps.

^^Because the #74 bulb is too long. It emits most of it's light out of the top. Therefore your "L" will look dim.
