Default Introduction from newb (pics)

I have been on here for a month or so but not really any posts. My name is Jason and I just got my 2008 off roader in flint mica. I was set on black but since there wasnt one on the lot and they had flint mica, it looked good to me and had a 5 speed so i bought it. It comes with the pioneeer stereo with pre outs for an amp and thats a plus to me and i have an iphone that doesnt work with ipod connector but works with aux so thats ok. First things will be an axel back and intake. I am putting up pics too, now after the pics were taken i removed the tC logo and all the dealer spam from the vehicle. I hope to learn a lot about this car from you guys since i love modding. I would really like to know if an 05-07 exhaust fits my 08? here are the pics as promised

yea it should fit, unless something under there changed which i dont think did? Welcome and great color choice. I see the hatch carpet has changed since mine doesnt have all those spaces for the baby seat thingy.

any exhaust system for the tC will fit any year. This is in regard to the entire system, from header to the muffler. There was no change in exhaust through out the years at all. Only change was in the MAF sensor. Thats where you gotta be careful. If you plan on getting an intake get and 07-08.

Otherwise, good looking car. Cant wait to see what direction you take this in.

yeah definately want to remove all logos, any suggestions for truck one? the front one i will change grill, now will grills for older models fit this '08? hey that pioneer stereo isnt too bad but where are they hiding the 6 inch sub, sounds like poop, need to get rid of. dropping it an inch seems good to me too, i havent seen an 08 intakes, other than intakes is there any other parts i should be aware not to use on my year? also i have read about header and down pipe, will just stick with axel back and it seems like the injen sounds nice and magnaflow and borla for axle backs as long as you dont change anything before the axle or you get the ricey sound, thanks guys

Ya the Precision Muffler is a great exhaust. Great looks, great sound. You can get a complete system, all the way through the muffler and as long as you get a big resonator you wont have a ricey sound.

you going to lower the car? and what about a header to the list? it'll be kinda restrictive for that exhaust system without a more freeflowing header and the extra air coming into the intake doesn't help on top of that. well, congrats on joining scionlife. good luck on keeping your ride clean. i dunno how you guys survive driving in orlando during rush hour. biggest nightmare for a stick owner.

I know a sweet mod. Changing out the tails to earlier model ones. Everyone with and '08 is doing it. Getting the previous style tail lights. I just so happen to have an '07 btw...wanna trade?

Lol, just kidding, but nice pick on the scion. If you're going to do a de-badge I suggest getting a VRD grille. I have it and love it.

Am I the only one that likes the tC logo onthe back? I wanna take my scion logo off the back and leave just that one tc logo on the car.
