Default iPod AUX cable not included with Car?

Hello guys,

Is a tC suppose to come with a AUX cable, if you upgraded to the iPod deck? Cause my tC didn't come with it.

Are you certain you actually got the ipod deck? I upgraded to the ipod deck and when the car came back from them installing it, I found they had installed the base deck instead.

The ipod deck has, on the right side, a dial that also works like a joystick. You can rotate it, or push it up, down, left and right. If you don't have that, then it's not the iPod deck.

The cable hooks into the port inside your console box that's labelled "iPod". It's on the left side and if you dont have the iPod stereo, it's just a black plastic cover.

If you dont' have it, go back to the dealership and demand it from them. I got mine in my center storage arm rest.

yeah.. but it'll sound crappy and you need to control the iPod

if you have the iPod deck.. the cable can be either in the armrest or in the glove box.

it's usually in the glove box.

none of the cars come with the AUX cable which I think is what you were asking. You can go to radioshack and get the shortest one they have for under $5. The iPod deck comes with the ipod cord though, but not the aux cord.

^ +1

also, if you get the dock connector to 1/8" mini plug it actually sounds good and it wont distort (it will convert the ipod to line level) and it will render the volume control on the ipod unuseable. but the over all signal that way is great imo. i used to have it before i upgraded
