Irish Luck + TC = bumper damage
Well it was a nice sunny day Friday and i was getting one the Thruway and wile getting my ticket at the toll booth the person behind me decided they wanted on first.
I am guessing its going to be like $875 to fix waiting on the insurance company (Geico, (not mine)) to come look at it.
What do you body experts say? you think the bumper needs to be replaced?
edit: its a 2009 w/ 6978 miles
EDIT: 4/28
The 875 i pulled out of my @ss after looking at the prices for parts and stuff, but that is on the very high end.
Her insurance company came out today and gave me a check. Total estimated repairs 634.43 includes replacing the bumper for which i am happy.
Now the task is finding a paint shop to do the work, since its only the bumper i was thinking the Dealer.
The distortions are in the bumper.

No Doubt who it was that did the damage.

Well I dont know. There is some damage there. Lets break it down like this. (Figured at 52/hour.)
R&I rear bumper 1.2 hours $62.40.
1.0 hour repair $52.00.
3.5 hour to paint plus hazardous waste removal $187.
Paint and materials $91.
$392.40 +tax

I had someone bump my rear bumper and it left a bit of a crease and needed some paint. No note or anything, so my insurance covered it... but it ended up being under $400 or something. The shop did a fantastic job and I believe they even heated the bumper a bit to get the crease out and make sure everything was smooth.
Over $800 is a total rip for what yours looks like - then again, you're not paying for it, so whatever.
