Just out of curiosity, what dealer made you wait that long?

 

You could have flown here, bought it and driven it home three months ago.

 

Good luck with the Audi. If you can swing the extra 6 grand, maybe the tC wasn't for you anyway.

Sorry to hear that u decided to not go with the tC, but I guess less tC's on the road is a good thing... Good Luck with your car. Keep in mind European cars cost a ____load of $ to maintain. I know, my parents have a Volvo...

Congratulations, I'm sure you'll enjoy the Audi; it's a great car.

But, for other people who run into this thread while waiting, you should know that a 3 month wait is nuts. His dealer is probably a screwup.

 

Dealer here is still quoting 4 to 6 weeks. I got mine at the end of July and it only took 2 weeks.

The Audi is going to be a money pit. It is a nice car but it is very expensive to maintain. I hope you took into consideration the money you will need to put into it in the next two years.

 

I'd probably have waited 3 months if I'd stayed with my old dealer (my new dealer is prepping my car even as we speak). He was probably waiting for SAB.

 

I considered getting a tt at one time, but, a girl I used to dat e had one and ended up selling it. Repair costs were bankrupting her. Then again she was a $hitty driver. I waited a month for my box. I decided on the scion cause I could hook it up and still not spend that much. Put the difference into a fatty mutual fund. I think I'm better off now. :twisted:

 

I feel your pain shikado. I ended up waiting over 6 months for a Mazda3 . I finaly got fed up and now I'm buying a tC. I just need to wait for a standard/manual/flint mica tC to come in. Should be mine within a month.

 

Pretty much every dealers around here either let you order a car with 2mo+ wait or buy one with "dealer installed options" which bring up the price anywhere from $20k-25k.

 

I'm not. Actually, I'm quite happy with the purchase.
