But my DPTs were bronze. I want something different. I may polish them.

^That's what color they come in. I'm not a fan of black wheels but I'd rock them that way until I figured out a color to paint them.


Also should I get 08+ headlights or keep the ones I have? I need a new set either way because the top of mine are starting to get oxidation on the inside and I'm too lazy to open them up.

 

Yes. Get the 08+ headlights. I have an 09', and for some reason, I don't like the tunnel look on the 07's. Just my opinion

 

you should def get 08's. i got mine in the mail right now.

 

Sometimes I like them sometimes I don't. My main motivation is the fact I can't stand how HIDs look in reflector housings now.

I was considering getting the same in full polish, but in the pics I've seen I wasn't all impressed, still looks kind of dull, IDK. I think they have more of a lip than Grids, and I like that.

 

If I had a daily I'd take them out and clean them. That would give me time to wetsand and polish them.

Well they don't come polished in our bolt pattern so it's something I'd have to do myself. It's not a big deal to me because then at least I'd know it was done right.

 

On the inside though? I thought about getting 08 lights, but I dunno. Are they plug and play or do you need a new harness or whatever? I kinda wanna see if there are the old 07 spec headlights floating around...

 

^You can try TRDSparks if you don't find any. I can get the VIN off my former Spec tC and get the part number at the dealer next time I stop by.

 

Do you really need a VIN to get them? They're listed on Sparks still.

 

Not needed, I only see one side listed most times when I go on Sparks lol.

 

It's mostly around the edge where the seal is. It may actually be on the outside, but on the back of the housing where water is able to get behind it on the top and by the side marker. I haven't taken them out to look yet.

 

Very nice set. The photographer knows whats up! I like the water droplets on the bumper.
