Two sets of these for sale locally. One 17" one 18". The 18s are stupid cheap.

Eh. Not too fond of those, but it would be interesting to see them on your car.
How cheap is "stupid cheap"?

I'd have to strip them they wouldn't stay black. And lets just say they're cheaper than Rotas by a significant amount.

Would you paint them a different color or polish them up after the black is stripped?
Hahah. nice find, then.

I'd polish them at first. Then maybe paint the faces a color later.

Yeah they're Equips. One wheel may need to be rebuilt it's leaking at the seal. Not a big deal though.

Lol it's still up in the air. I'm waiting to hear back from the guy selling them. They're not too aggressive. 18x8.5 +38 before adapters.

I've never polished or taken a wheel apart before so this will be a learning experience lol.

It's looking like a go. I'll know for sure on Tuesday.

Do your wheels have cut outs on the back for when you use adapters? I'm trying to figure out what size to go with--15, 20, or 25mm. The studs will stick out with 15mm right?

Even with a 20mm they stick out about 5mm. Only the 25mm actually covers the stock studs completely. But if you have the holes in the back of your wheel you'll be fine.

Ah I see. I'll probably go with 20mm to be on the safe side. Thanks for the info!

x2

I had to add a 5mm spacer to flush out the stud. 25mm sounds perfect for that offset. heres a reference (18x9 35)

I'll be refinishing them. I haven't decided on a color yet.
