Default jp1371 picture thread

Hey all,
I wanted to introduce myself I recently bought the scion at the end of march. I come from the land of lifted trucks and jeeps but as we all know the economy sucks and gas keeps rising plus the fact I just became engaged to my girlfriend I need to save all the money I can. So I sold my 2006 f-150 4x4 w/alot of mods on it and bought this. Well my truck wasnt getting the use a 4x4 should, cost me $100 to fill up the tank for a week, and my friend made me and offer on it I couldnt refuse.I found a 2005 scion tc w 57,000 and paid 7500 for it

So this is her the week I bought it

I know this this thing isnt going to be super fast thats not why I bought it I just wanted something good on gas and reliable plus its an automatic. The goal with my car is just to get it to a good stance nice wheels and it to look killer so here we go with the mods.

First mod was a new Pioneer AVH-P2300DVD reciever due to a messed up original cd player

Also bought a set of hotchkis lowering springs for $80 off craigslist and a nst crank Pulley/belt and my fiance bought me a pair of bean garage's eyelids pics to come later

I still need to repaint and install the hotchkis drop coils and the nst crank pulley. Also need to finish piecing together the sideskirts and rear lip. I think im going with oem rear lip,but I dont know which side skirts though?

It may be a couple weeks for that as I just had to drop some cash on a new tv since the old one wwent out

Looks good. I wonder how those eyelids are compared to the bluebatmobile. I have the bbm's and I dont like the quality.

Nice. Did you just clean up the grille really well and start spraying? For best results, should i paint with the grille standing up or laying down?

yea just clean the grill really well I used alcohol, laid it down on the painting table and BAM! You cant mess up too bad unless you dont allow enough time between coats to dry!

Nice ride...do you plan on keeping the lip black? I am thinking of doing that with my RS 2.0, but I don't know if I'll like the look or not. Where'd you get the lip anyway?
