What's the deal with missing filters? I heard this might only be true of earlier models? Do the new(er) tCs come with a filter installed? I don't know about the 08's, but my 07 didn't have one. I heard that they don't put them in the tC, but they do in the xB. Don't know how true it is. I guess I should check mine, I've had it in for about 5 months

Toyota does not recommend running one. They say it interferes with cooling/AC system airflow. This is why no tc's come with them. I run the websorber stuff (search on scionlife for it, there is a whole thread on this.).

Certainly shows the air pollution out there

I forgot about mine for over a year here in the minneapolis area and it was slightly discolored at worst

probally one of the "must have" mods for the tC next to suspension and s2k antenna. I change mine every oil change and yuck, im glad i dont have to breathe in that gunk.
