just got my 05 rs1 of the dyno for the first time....
so i had three pulls on a dyno jet. I will post the dyno sheet a lil later since i'm working at this moment. I have a Tsudo header, Tsudo Catback, Agency pulley, Ebay Coldair, and a Unichip. The best i got was 160 h/p to the wheels and 166 torque to the wheels. Not as good as i wanted 165-170, but still a pretty great gain.

A manual is just over 140 to the wheels, and that is about all I would realistically expect with those mods. And since lighter pullies "trick" and inertial dyno into thinking you are creating more power I would knock about 5-8 hp off those numbers to be more realistic. Then you are in the 10 - 15whp range people see with IHE. Not sure what people are typically seeing NA with a unichip, but I wouldnt expect a ton. The slightly increased acceleration of a lighter pulley does not equate to more power to the ground, since at steady state rpm the car acts the same as before. This is the same with any reduction in rotational mass (like lighter wheels). So overall I would say you are getting what you should expect.

aiight the pulley does make a difference since my butt dyno told me. compared to my buddies stock tc with just trd axle back my tc feels like day and night. my tc is a manual and engifineer is hatin on me lol. unichip is straight i'd go for a greddy instead but i was hooked up.

how was I hating?
I didn't say reducing rotational mass doesn't affect acceleration, I said it doest add hp. That is proven by all the physics in the world and anyone who understands how an inertial dyno calculates power. Just because something makes a car accelerate faster, it is not necessarily freeing up power, that is a common misconception. But just so you know, a pulley has shown to have a virtually un-measurable effect on a 1/4 mile run. So you arent going to feel a big effect on the street, except that you are expecting to feel it since you made a mod, and thus it seems better than it is. Just like how hearing an intake growl after expecting a gain makes most people think they gained 10 hp instead of the 2 or so they actually gained.
All I was doing was supporting the gains you saw, which is exactly what you should have seen. Someone commented that your gains were low, when they were just what they should have been for those mods.
