Today was Round 5 of the Formula D at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe WA.

My wife got to get a special new mod for her tC.......





If you ever get the chance to goto a Drift Event do so.........it is so much better in person than on TV.........the track up here has a 1/4mile entrance so they hit the first large corner at near 70mph and take it sideways all the way around.......it was incredable......those guys can drive.

All the drivers were really cool and signed everything and talked to everyone about the cars and racing........great day.

IN the PNW forum we have started to get our pictures up but will be Sunday before all of us have them up.......got hundreds to sort through.......

That's so cool! Good idea getting him to sign your car lol.

I'm thinking it would be cool to leave a spot on my isotope cooling plate for him to sign whenever i meet him.

 

You need to clear coat that fast.....but very kool!

Drift events are always better in person. The smell of the burning rubber, the sound of screeching tires and engine reving, the sight of gray smoke clouds... ahhhh.... heavenly

It was really cool of Scion to let her bring her car back behind the gates to do it.

Another member of our team missed the autograph session and after the racing was over and most of the people were gone the had him drive his xB to the pits and Gushi signed his dash........right next to Chris Rados Autograph.......that the owner got at a previous event.

What was cool was Gushi took out his camera and started to take photos of the xB with his own camera......and ask questions about it and he loved the xB.....it is on bags with lambos.....all black on black........Gushi loved the box.....our team member is probably still giggling today......

Now he just has to get the Drag racing ladys autograph...cannot remember her name to save my life...she is the one with the xB that she made race car.

Way to go Cindy! Too bad that guy wouldn't let you in earlier I'm glad they finally gave in. The Gush is so cool!...I know you took pics of when he was signing my tire, me want!

Just got done clearcoating it and lettign it bake in the sun for a while...gotta go polish and wax it now....

Next hoping to meet up with Chris Rado and get him to sign the hood as well......that might be tough but we do have a Drag Strip and a few road courses so it is possible......

Kenny Tran would be a great autograph to get as well.....but doen't he play poker in the World Series of Poker........LOL.....J/k........NOPI would be cool to got as well.
