Default Keyless Entry Not Working

Not sure when it started exactly, but I know it was sometime today. Got out of my car and hit the lock button on my key and didn't hear my locks click. Turned around to watch and hit it again but with no result. The lights on the car didn't flash, nor did the doors lock or unlock when I used the key, as well as the panic button does not work. The car runs fine otherwise, the doors will lock/unlock from inside the car, starts properly and without hesitation (i.e., not a dead car battery) and the hatch opener functions properly.

The key itself flashes the little led when I press the buttons. And even still, I replaced the battery in the key itself thinking maybe it had only just enough juice to flash the lights...but even with a fresh battery, my key has just randomly stopped working.

Anyone else have this issue? And/or a way to fix it? I don't have my other master key on hand to try it out, but I will as soon as I can.

That happened to me once. I went home and tried using the other key. Magically they both worked again.
