kinda new here!
yo yo, very nice choice with the tC. your SI and EVO were sick my man, and its good that you have no problem putting in the time, but i will have you know there is nothing more dangerous to the car next to you than a boosted tC. these things will pull my friend. congradulations on the trade from the corvette. i have seen plenty tC's take EVOs. and that is with only running 7 or 8 pounds. if you build the engine, which is surprisingly cheap compared to others, that thing will easily hold 20+psi!!!!!
^^ the tC can be fast, but without a FULLY built engine you will max around the low to mid 300 whp range and 14 second 1/4 miles. And the reason criminal has seen tC's running 7 or 8 psi is because thats all the engine can take. its not a nissan and you will not be throwing double digit psi, unless you want your engine to blow.
also. i [less than three] the evo

Yes, the stock 2AZ-FE shouldn't be ran hotter than 8 pounds, and still 8 is pushing it if your running all the time. I love the EVO. so dang fast, and a nice car while its at it. but yes, 7 to 8 pounds will put out a mean turn out and that is why most boosted tC's i see are only running 7 or 8 because you get a good HP and dont have to build it up. In his case he should since he is used to real speed. And that is why I told him building that 2AZ isn't that bad and that he should go for it, he'll be impressed. I wasn't comparing the EVO to the tC ($18,000 compared to $35,000 doesn't compare), I was just saying that going boosted will not be a waste of your time, they will keep up with the EVO. obviously once you build up that mitsubishi engine it's pretty much over for any competitor, but bottomline, tC's are quick and you'll be having fun in a 300hp+ tC
