leave iPod in tC all the time?

Really, the iPod head unit that Scion offers seems to have the best features for a daily driver, what with the steering wheel controls. If you're doing a show car, there's definitely better options. My only complaint is that the jack is in the console. If they placed it in the glove box, right under the tire pressure button, we could leave an iPod in there and lock the box. With the jack in the console, I had to make this ridiculous false bottom to hide the iPod. And even this isn't as secure as a lock...maybe I'll just get a gun for security. ;-)

my ipod mini battery dies after a few days of being left in the car. when the car is on, the ipod is being charged. weird. it been 75-85 degrees the past month.

the iPod is only supposed to be charging when the key is in acc or beyond. if the car is just sitting there off the ipod isn't being charged. and i wouldnt leave the iPod in there all the time for any reason.

i actually carry it around and listen to it with headphones and such, cuase i actually thought thats what the ipod is for!

hkspeed, check out the setting on ur ipod, usually wen an Ipod isnt played for a couple of minutes it automatically shuts off(sleep mode)...
