yeah, it is all fine and dandy to love working on your car and everything, but what do you like better, planning to work on your tc over the weekend to modify it, or having to drop everything at the most inconvenient time to fix your ride on the night you have a date with a sure thing? not cool. seriously, stick with the newer reputible, more reliable car. the 3000gt was gawd awful attempt at mimicing the nissan skyline. heavy, unrelaible, and underperforming. zack from the night kids would be crashing alot more and losing must earlier if he drove one of these on the mountain pass.

You're right.

...and 'pwned'?

The 300GT was a pioneer for a lot of modern day auto-technology (four-wheel steering, anybody?), and was an excellent car. Personally, I would choose one over any Skyline. Why? Because it's the underdog, and it presents a challenge to me.

Just don't make me choose between it and a 300ZX. Because... well... ya know.

wow, 12.888 versus 12.92? well, if straightline performance is all that matters to you over a total package. have fun. did you ever see the video of the opel vectra vxr from top gear? pretty fast flippin car, but it understeered on the tarmac like it was sloshing through snow. awful turning. straightline performance isn't everything. and the mechanical track record ain't that great neither.

i was in your shoes a year ago. At first I was choosing between twin turbo 300zx or 3000gt vr4. I decided I need a 4 door 4 seater car so that changed my options. Now i was choosing between 330, evo. And the Evo sold me when i test drove it! good luck on your purchase. go to 3000gt forums first and get some inquiries about some common problems of the car ure getting

4 wheel steering has been around for alot longer than people realize, honda and nissan had models tht offered it in the 80's and early 90's. mitsubishi wasn't the first or a pioneer.
