Lexan replacement roof?
Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket manufacturers are considering making a Lexan replacement for the tC glass roof?
It would be a lot lighter (at the highest point on the car!), and might even be safer if a rock should hit the roof.

Sounds like paranoia, which I understand. I have a phobia about tables with glass tops. I always get visions of someone tripping and crashing though it cutting themselves to shreds...
If a rock that is big enough to break the roof is falling down on to the car, you have bigger problems than a glass roof. If you are going for weight savings, find a new car.
If you used lexan for the roof the car would loose some structural integrity as well as looking like total ____.
