Default License plates

i know this might be one of the dumbest or lamest posts, but i would honestly like to know if dealers have to screw on the front license plate directly to your bumper or do the dealerships do that on ther own? if it cracks? what can be done? i would just like to know if we are entitled to a new bumper or what, please let me know, thanks a bunch

Ummm i didnt want to risk it. So i took it to the dealer and had them put it on. They screwed the holes in the bumper..i did that so if they messed it up they had to fix it. Plus i am sure they put them on for a lot of cars so they now how to do it better. Our tC's dont have the holes pre-drilled out, so that's why i took it in. I wasn't going to put the front license plate on at all..but it's against the law her in california..DAMN LAWS!

Luckily I signed the papers on my tC the day it came in on the truck. They hadn't drilled the holes yet and they were nice enough to ask if I wanted holes or not. So I bought the License plate bracket from 808 Customs and it's a lot nicer than drilling the holes in your bumper.

Luckly in Arizona, we are not required to have a front plate. Keeps the front of the car nice and clean. Don't much like the look of the front plate being on there.

Dealership did mine. In Missouri we had to have a front license plate. I just moved to Kansas and you don't have to have a front plate, but since I have holes there now I'm going to order one of the Scion License plates, to put there.
