Back in the mid 90s I managed 2 bars at Purdue. One of my bartenders that gave everyone nicknames started callin me "the big cat" (his name was suede). It kinda stuck. All my kitchen guys who were latino called me "gatogrande". So since the big cat has been taken as a username virtually everywhere on the internet since before Al Gore invented it I use elgatogrande.

 

Mine orginally started as darker264. I liked it cause it sounded cool, and I was going through a bit of a goth phase when i made it. I changed it to DarkertC when...I got a flint mica tC.

I was working at Goddard on a project, living with a bunch of other grad students. We were trashed, someone had a hard time telling someone else who asked that I was an engineer.. it turned into a big joke and my later screen name.
