to the other guy yeah... you bake em in the oven to loosen the silicon seal... 200deg F. for 10 mins usually does the trick... and won't melt anything.

Technically you could put HIDS in them, but I would not recommend it. Anzo specifically states that their projector housing should be used for halogen bulbs only. The risk would be on the consumer's part. Also, I like the look of the lights. As was said above, the top row LED's will burn out after some time. Personally I would have gone with the black housing version but Anzo does make a high quality product...congrats on your purchase!
