those are the Anzo headlights. the leds on the top will burn out on ya after some time. and you might experiece some fogging issues if you dont seal em properly.

Agreed.. the anzos are cool but everyone has em now... i'm all about trying something different.. even if it's slightly different... so I'm ripping apart a pair of headlights, and going to black them out totally minus the halos (which i'm doing myself for 20$, why pay 150$ for Umitz/etc) an the HID's... Should basically mimic the look of a vette/lambo with the color matched casings. I already have everything apart, going to start primering and painting this weekend.. need to start a post on the best paint.. especially for those ____ty chrome pieces..

I used high temp engine paint on my eyebrow part (it's what I had on hand). Just make sure you sand the chrome parts before sprayin'.

You can put HIDs in anything.. they make an assortment of bulbs.... you can check out oznium.com or several other places.. word of advice .. don't go cheap on HIDs... get a good kit...

to the other guy yeah... you bake em in the oven to loosen the silicon seal... 200deg F. for 10 mins usually does the trick... and won't melt anything.

Technically you could put HIDS in them, but I would not recommend it. Anzo specifically states that their projector housing should be used for halogen bulbs only. The risk would be on the consumer's part. Also, I like the look of the lights. As was said above, the top row LED's will burn out after some time. Personally I would have gone with the black housing version but Anzo does make a high quality product...congrats on your purchase!

Agreed, I'd rather build out a stock light myself... just depends if you want to actually put forth the labor.. personally i'd rather pour myself into it... and make it "my creation".. plus it's fun

either way good luck!
