Manual is the only way to go for scions. The people who would tell you different are the ones with auto. I personally drive both every other day. Auto straight up sucks for the tC.

Manual FTW.. You get in the car are from the get go you have way more control over it. Auto if your daily drive involves hours of stop and go, but even then autos are boring.

I have an auto, I won't say it sucks or good either. but if the area often traffic then get an auto. manual only give you a little more power.

Auto are for people that don't have a left leg... I have a left leg and foot so when I'm in a car I need both my legs and feet to move. I like to move my right arm and hand while my left arm and hand are controlling the wheel.. I'm not a lazy driver.. I like to be active as much as possible

Edit=== anyone that says autos are better for stop and go traffic.. well I started driving in NYC stop and go traffic and I love a 5spd in it. I have seen a lot of autos hit people because they forgot to step on the brake or where paying attention to something on the sidewalk.. people that say Auto is better for stop and go.. Don't know how to drive. IMO ...

that something my dad would say when I was learning how to drive. You can't press down clutch pedal if you don't have a left leg.

Auto but I'm starting to regret it when it comes to going turbo etc. But sadly I've never been taught HOW to drive a manual. I honestly don't think I have the coordination for it. lol

thats not neccessarily true, sure, off the lot they will charge you 1500 more for the slushbox, but 10 years from now when there will be far less tc's on the road, teenagers will be looking for manual tc's, not autos

just like hondas

also, like stated above, 1500 more......no thank you, ill shift all day every day, and i love it!

If you want to drive the car, get a standard.

If you want the car to drive you, get an auto.

If someone's decision in buying a car relies between purchasing a auto or manual, then a manual is not for you. I live in the dead center of L.A. and love punching my gears on my way to and from werk/skool.
