i need help, i've looked everywhere and i don't have the owners manual, and i just got my tc recently and this will be my first oil change on it, mind you it has 50,000 miles. how much oil does it take? thanks in advance!

i think he just bought the car with almost 50,000 miles on it...not keeping the same oil for 50,000 miles. haha wouldnt that be some ____. i overheard a girl at school one time that went 20,000 miles over on getting her oil changed.

get 5. youll have a little left over that you can use incase you need to add some later on.

yur car will need 4 quarts to fill exactly tho, if u change the filter too.

 

It takes 4 full quarts to do the oil change, remember to run only 5-30 w full synthetic oil, I recomed mobile 1 oil and filter, I have 92,000 on my tc with every bolt on I can find except forced induction and never had any problems

WATT?? lol u can use that 20 bucks or so to maybe take yur lady out to eat or sumin. Also u shuldnt say ONLY use 5-30 , alot of people like i myself, use 5-20.

 

'07 and above are supposed to use 5w20 or 0w20.. fyi

 

yea i almost started a post on this last night. if its the same motor and everything why did they change the oil were supposed to use?!
