Default Megan Racing Cat Back System - Drift Spec

Thinking of putting this on my '05.

Looked everywhere, could not find the info on the heated o2 sensor , does it have the opening for it?

THank you

Replacing a catback isn't going to affect either O2 sensor. One is on the header and the other on the downpipe. The catback system only comes with the midpipe and axleback.

So it does not have the second catalytic as well right? DOes it make sense to replace that and if it does which one should I get?

That's probably a generic photo. Our midpipe comes in one piece. Either way, the O2 sensor isn't on it. And yes it deletes the secondary cat.

Just checked the repair manual, you are right! Thank you, I'll plan accordingly

One more question,

Will it pass emissions without the second cat?

Yes since the secondary O2 is before the secondary cat, it won't throw a CEL. The most you'll notice, other than the sound obviously, is a stronger exhaust odor.

Be prepared for the loudness. I think it sounds pretty awesome and I'm just using their midpipe to TRD, but just be ready for it.

CORRECTION: OEM midpipe is 1 piece, but AFTERMARKET midpipes come in 2 pieces. Pic is correct for a catback exhaust. It'll include 2 pieces that make 1 midpipe and 1 axleback. No need to worry about O2 sensors.

Pretty sure mine is one piece and it's aftermarket. Megan may do 2 pieces, but like I said it won't affect the O2.

Not saying you're wrong, but that must've been a loooooong box for them to ship it in! My Tsudo came in 2 pieces.

Nevermind I went outside and looked. It's a Tsudo as well. It's been on so long I forgot I put the 2 pieces together lol.

Nicem thanks! Has anyone actually changed the downpipe as well? I tried taking the heated o2 out of that thing- it is impossible even with an impact wrench, it's rusted solid.

They forgot to ship my Tsudo with the bolts and the gasket, I had to call them and they shipped it to me free of charge.

Try a little WD-40 or the like and a breaker bar to get it loose. I know taking my header o2 sensor was a pain.
