but could anyone post a pic of the key and keyless entry? i'm just curious as to what it looks like.

i'm living in australia right now but am moving back to the states on august 22nd, and my new tC will be waiting for me there, its supposed to arrive 4 days before i do... i'm so stoked.

anyhow, i had a vw bora and it had the integreated flip-style key and keyless entry and i was just wondering what its gonna look like for the tC

 

Well, it's not like the VW's "switchblade" style key. The buttons are located on the head of the key, similar to other brands such as Lexus.
There were some pics posted before but I can't seem to find them...

oh yeah, you get two of the keys on the left. and you get one valet key on the right.

i was mainly just wanting to find out if the keyless entry thing was integrated into the key or seperate. seperate ones drive me crazy...

side questions -
is the antenna fixed or does it retract when the radio/car is off?

the only other 'little thing' that bothers me is the tC doesn't have a rear windshield wiper (or does it? ii can't see it in pictures, but haven't had a chance to see my tC yet as i'm still in australia...)

 

No there's no rear wiper. I have learned to live without it.

 

Fixed. You can replace it with an S2000 antenna which is about half as tall and looks better, in my opinion. Radio reception is just as good.

 

i've been out of the states (and without a car) for so long that i cannot think of any good aftermarket part sites at all... where's a good place to find small accessories? parts off the top of my head that i can think of for my tC are going to be shift ****, hand brake handle, antenna, headlight replacements, and i'm probably missing something else....

anyone know some good (reliable and affordable) parts suppliers?
