here's the situation: the mods i most want to do to my tc are the twm short shifter and the trd springs. i just can't decide which to do first. the way i look at it the springs have the advantage of improving handling and making it look better with the drop. on the other hand, the shifter will have a big impact on the shifting feel, which i don't particularly care for in the stock setup.

given only those two choices, which would you do first and why?

 

the shifter does suck, but I would put springs on first, but i wouldn't use TRD not low enough, but If i have to decide between the two then I would still go with the springs

 

you should get both i have the springs on my car, and the shifter i must say is one of my favorite mods. it depends what you want... handling and exterior appearance upgrade... or shifting interior appearance upgrade. i like the look of the short shifter alot better, i changed out my shift boot to a MOMO leather stitched one... you can check it out on my cardomain. if you have to get one first i suggest the TWM shifter as you can do that yourself unless you are mechanically inclined to install your lowering springs.

No, it just makes the throw shorter and easier so you can shift faster. Also the weighted **** makes it throw easier.
