Moonroof sound
anyone is experiencing problems with your driver side seat?
like the seat is sinking in and there's a big gap (can fit your hand in it) b/t the back rest and your seat, or the seat is making squeaking noise when driving on bumpy road

my moon roof creaks, my driver side seat squeaks, and there is a very large rattle coming from the back of the car, also my head unit cover squeaks (you know the little door that covers the cd player). If anyone has a link to the posts for these fixes, please pm them to me so I can fix my baby, she is a delicate woooman
oh ya, about 12000 miles on it

Matt, you got a broke ___ tC. My moonroof only does it when i go up this corner on my driveway every once in awhile. If it breaks for good I'll take it in, but otherwise f**k it. I got same milage as you too. Take your _____ ride in and make them fix it...nobody wants a squeeky _____ of a ride especially when its as sexy as a BSP tC.

1. Remove the dash cover surrounding the radio (first you have to pop off the trim around your shifter, then the trim around the head unit)
2. Once you have disconnected the climate control panel pull the trim assembly out
3. there are 4 screws holding in the sliding radio cover, remove those.
4. after the radio cover is removed, look towards the top under the A/C vents, there are 3 prongs that help hold the sliding radio cover in place. I surrounded mine with some very thin (1/8" thick) adhesive weather stripping. I doubled it up and put everything back together, no more squeaking..... i hope this helps some of your problems.

My moonroof used to make the popping sound but I took it to the dealership and they fixed it. They said it was my wind deflector and something to do with the track being broken. Who knows, but I don't get that particular sound anymore.
I do still get another noise, which was actually the noise I was hoping they would fix. It's more of a creaking noise. I can cause the noise to occur by pushing on the moonroof frame from the inside at the front center area. The next time I take my car in for anything (probably a free oil change) I will show them in person what the noise is so they can fix it once and for all.
Other than that, my car is full of annoying noises and it seems the more miles I put on my car the more sounds I discover. My glove box squeaks, I have a faint but constant vibrating sound coming from the area of my far left air conditioning vent, and I have the hatch rattle. I know nothing is perfect, but if I can't alleviate some of the noises I will go insane. At times, it makes me want to trade my car in and try my luck at another one.
