Default The most annoying sound in the world.

YES THIS IS SUPER LONG. BUT, PLEASE IF ANYONE COULD HELP IT WOULD BE GREAT.

Im not gonna lie, this has got me SO frustrated. Ive literally searched for a month and i cant figure this out for the life of me!

My car makes this "wu wu wu, wu wu wu" sound when cruising. After some tests i figured out that my rear passenger wheel bearing was giving out so i bought a new hub assembly and installed it myself.. but my car is still making the same noise!! WTF??

Ive posted this problem before (bout 2 months ago) but since then ive done some more observing.. it starts to sound when i hit 30 mph and if i drive exactly at this speed itll get louder and louder. Heres the weird part.. i brake to low 20's or so itll slowly go away or if i accelerate about to 38 it also goes away?? WTF is it? If someone helps me ill bake u a damn cake!

PS: Ive also researched on Google and apparently Toyota Tundras have this "wu wu wu" problem... apparently a problem with their differentials.. but for them it doesnt happen at 30mph.

Right now i have no idea.. so anything would help..thanks

Well have the car in the air and spin the wheels, if anything make a whirring sound almost to the point that is a grinding noise that wheel bearing is shot too. Take a look to see if there is and fresh rubbing on any suspension parts. Hope that helps.

Throw out bearing.. hm.. but how would i be able to check if that really was the problem? And im guessing it would be a PITA to do on my own.

Ive tried that! Thats how i found out my rear passenger bearing was out.. problem is the noise only occurs at 30 mph so i cant really get the wheels to spin that fast.. any other speed other than around 30mph ..you CANT hear it at ALL. :/

The sound doesn't sound very characteristic of this - but check exhaust components. On my other car, I had a spring bolt that was part of the midpipe flange that would vibrate ONLY at 2500 rpms. Just needed tightening

Otherwise, I'd say it definitely seems to be suspension related.

If it immediately goes away with braking then you could have a caliper dragging. If not, then it's possible something is rubbing under certain conditions. Either way, have someone else drive your car and sit in the back and try to pinpoint the approximate location of the sound and then focus on everything in that area.

It could be a tire or an alignment issue....
