doesnt increasing the tire pressure wear out the tire faster? and sometime cause uneven wear or pumps?

that happened to someones tire...but his was over 40psi.
trying to keep mine at 36-38 but havent checked in a while... its hard finding a pressure gauge that u can trust but isnt expensive...

also its time for a oil change...last change from the dealer...they overfilled the first time and i wonder what their going to do this time...

Under inflation causes uneven wear.. . . over inflation with steel belted radials reduces contact patch but the tire pretty much stays square across the tread where as under inflated causes wear on the inner and outer edges. The only down side is that there is less rubber touching the road and that increases the stress on that rubber in terms of wear under heavy throttle and braking.

It is strange that you get the exact same mileage each and every time. My mileage usually stays between 25-27mpg in town. I get ~28mpg at 55mph, and ~28mpg at 80mph.
