My ending is someone else's new beginning.
It doesn't seem that long ago that I bought my tC. Yet, it feels like it has been a part of my life forever. Almost 5 and a half years after the day I saw it on the lot and hesitated buying it because I wanted Indigo Ink I have nothing but fond memories of our time together. It is the only car I've had that never had to go to the shop. The only thing that broke was the sun visor. So, here is a brief walk through my ScionLife with #12939 off the assembly line.
The first picture I took of it. I got tinted within the first 2 weeks of owning it.

A very close call, usually I don't get so lucky.

The 2005/6 key was poorly designed. I bought a used one off eBay and made my own. Total: $12.

My new wheels and springs went on in 2008.

And, less than 2 weeks later I ran over a metal wire in front of my parking space.

I bought and painted a set of eyelids that only I seemed to like.

About a year after buying mine, my then girlfriend (now fiance, wife 3/17/10) bought one of her own. Nautical Blue... just to irritate me.

This was my all time favorite photo shoot.

I got the Jada toy for the recall and decided to paint it like mine.

For six months, I actually got to park in my very own garage! Then we bought a house and back outside it went. What a great 6 months.

I found a set of RS 1.0 seats on eBay for $50. What a steal.

This was the last photo shoot I did.

And today...

I watched it drive away for the last time.

I have a feeling that in 30 years, I will be searching high and low for a Scion tC to restore so I can relive these times.
So long, old friend.

I sold it because my job requires me to report in even the worst weather. Or rather especially in the worst weather. It was fine on most days, but I didn't want to drive it and risk scratching it, etc. with ice all over the roads. It got to the point where it sat 3/4 of the year. I don't need another to treat like show car right.
My fiance parks her's in the garage and I park my Impala in the other stall. So my tC sat outside.
I bought a 2007 Subaru Legacy GT wagon:

The truck in the picture above is what the guy came to pick it up in.

Thanks, I've been obsessing about the Legacy since I bought the tC. Price made the tC a no-brainer.
My Impala when I inherited it in 1993:

And two years ago - I need updated pictures:

I am in the process of re-restoring it.
