Default My first Auto-X today!! Pics!

So, I went to my first auto-X today and I think I might have a new addiction... The tC did OK, but I know I can make it better. Can you say Hotchkis front and rear adjustable sways? Can you say better tires? I can... and will. This is gonna be great! We had about 120 cars and it was a full grid. I was the only tC there. I ran a best time of 56.7 seconds and the fastest car ran a 48.7. I got some vids to edit but for now here is a pic, I should be getting some more pics too. Anyone else auto-X? It's a blast.

with the upgrades you want, i would also go with some different springs.

s-tech = stylish tech which isnt going to do anything to make your times better, get some performance oriented springs like eibach or h&r.

Nice picture, and good job on that time

I can tell from the picture the body roll is a little to much, but still acceptable, until mods can be done.

Looks like it's takin a bow, lol, but still lookin good for no sways.

I live approximately 20 mins from West Chester.

Yeah, I'll see how the sways make her handle, then maybe save up for a full set of coilovers. I got about a month to get ready for the next event. Can't wait!

Nice! It is addicting. Keep in mind though that 90% of the improvement will be driver (Even if you have run road racing or other types of hard driving). Many of the experienced guys even say to run the car as is for the first season, because you will drop seconds by experience alone.

Mine is on TRD springs, trd rear sway, hotchkis strut tie and avon tech m550's and it handles great on the auto-x track.

Enjoy the new addiction, I just got into this year as well and already have a large portion of my weekends booked

Yeah, West Chester, NY and West Chester, PA, about 5 hours apart...

Check the web for a local SCCA chapter and then you'll find some local auto-X's.

Yep, it was the Park City Auto-X! It was great! If you didn't pre-register or be one of the first to show up and register, then you might not have been able to race. They had a waiting list for fill-ins on no-shows. There is another one coming up next month at Carlisle! We gotta rep Scionlife there!!

that looks like fun! i always wanted to try it out, but auto-x isnt as big over here in the west coast compared to drifting and drag racing (at least that is what ive been told). anyways, pick up a new set of racing springs, like TRDs, eibachs, or swifts, along with sways and tires. they should help lower your time. GL with your progress!
