Ok, i know theres been alot of these threads but im very ____ed off so bare with. I got a ____ing tint ticket today in ohio, where the limit is 50%, and it got read @ 38%. Its been on the car for 2 ____ing years and they decide 2 crack down 2day? whatever. But is the best way 2 go about this just 2 remove the tint from the front 2 windows and just move on? Thats what im leaning towards. It just ____es me off how it happened 2day after 2 god damn years.

Ok, end rant.

 

I actually just took my tints off today since I am tired of getting pulled over/tickets for it.

Had it for 4 years with tints, but money is tight so Cops are getting money for anything they can

yup, dude, it is the risk you run with illegal tint. i mean, what do you expect? for them to pull you over as soon as you rolled out the parking lot with the tint on it?

there was one guy who posted on here how he put on some green license plate bulbs and was pulled over first thing the next day.

just a matter of fortune if you do or don't get pulled over for something like illegal tint or light bulbs.

 

This is a prime opportunity to ask a question that I've had on my mind.

If your car is within legal limit in the state which it's registered, but you go out of state, say Wisconsin(35%) to Ohio(50%), could one receive a ticket in Ohio for the tint?

 

im not sure on that...

but yeah, i know i was just mad because it was 2 years later! uhh. but i guess im going too just take it off the front 2 windows and see how i like it... maybe slap on some legal tint upfront. Not sure.

But, i dont think i have the choice too pay the ticket... im a minor and think i gotta "take care of the issue"
