the color can cost me 8$
the primer I bought cost me 22$ and the clear was a nifty 26$ I’m pretty sure I got ripped off on the primer and clear but the guy said it’ll last in heat.

the reason i bought a scion was so i can do alot to a 4 banger and save on gas. here in california gas is nuts, i dont know how it is in bush country. if i wanted a better car i would of gotten my ford f150 SVT, but then that car has all the bells and whistles and i wouldn't be able to do much to it.

but thank you for all the kind words, this proves i can't post ____ on scion life without negative comments, proves that the scion community isn't as great as it seems.

Its not that the scion community isn't that great...
Anywhere you go, you will find someone who plays the bully. And, they like to bring others down just to look like the top dog. It's rather annoying to me, that's why I said something. I am not meaning to start a fight. But, you shouldn't be dissin' someone's ideas--even if it is cheap or tacky or if it has already been done. If they like it and it makes them happy, how is it harming you? It's not! So, why should people be so negative? If you see something you don't like or think is ignorant in a thread, why not just skip it and go to the next one? Anyone out there have a sufficient explanation for that? If so... I'd like to hear it.
I guess this is all really about how you can control your negativity. Some people can't keep it to themselves...

Its your car, so your entitled to your opinion,

If i recall you asked for peoples opinions,

do you like or is it too girly...?
You asked if people liked it, You cant expect 100% positive remarks, so if you cant take some negative critisizm then dont post pictures of your handy work and certainly dont ask what people think about it.

just because my tail lights are red doesn't mean i'm going to take out the headliner and spray paint it red.

i'm not trying to be a dick, but when you post things on here you're going to get different opinions. good & bad.

true but since i attend many scion events with my team, my car normally will have everything open. hood, back, doors... people look. just because u can't see dirt behind the tier doesn't you shouldn't clean it.

as for u mr. 96 (slowpoke), you seem to make negative comments about everything.. it's fine, i thank you.

and it's not! Crafter wrote:

I only give negative comments on things that in my opinion dont look good. i havent really seen anything done to a tc that i like yet, most of the tc's here are stock. So there isnt much to comment on.

Again, its my opinion, when you make a post like this asking for opinions you will get some that like it, and some that wont. I wouldnt take it a serious as you are., who cares if i dont like your ricer mods, big deal move on.

Usually only when the original poster gets butt hurt do they interpret the opinion as rude.

i'm not hurt, i dont care, i asked if it was girly... since its not.. i dont care... making a comment that u dont like is fine, but saying it's cheap and tacky when u haven’t seen it in person to see what detailed work it really is... thats the rude part.

Dude, you just did it again. Drop it, just like you said.

FYI, If anyone does want to paint the silver areas on their scions, go right ahead. These pieces are painted silver form the factory not molded in silver, so you wont have a problem of peeling or cracking like painting bare plastic. Just clean it really good, its paint. If you have questions about painting these email me at any time, I could walk you through it if needed.

Default mods

Painting your interior parts is just dumb. That is unless you man up and do it right and take it to a bodyshop and have it done correctly...like a hotrod or a minitruck.

Spraypaint is not of sufficient quality for your car's surfaces. You guys all spend tons of $ for the highest end parts and components, then go and ____ up your car with spraypaint. Automotive paint is of high quality and cheap enough to ahve small pieces painted rerasonably.

Spray painting is not a mod, it is a dumb idea that you will regret later. So it re-covering parts of tyour interior. If you are gonna do it, do it right. DOn't just put in patches of blue or green. Oh, and btw...tweed is out.

Mods, lock this topic. New members reading this just trying to see what people do to their Scions like me are starting to wonder if they should regret the decision to register.

Unfortunately you will see stuff like this all over the place. Don't regret registering. This is a great forum to get ideas, talk to people and just check stuff out. Don’t let the few who want to bash others sway you on the site.
