Default My tC is acting up!

This afternoon my tC started acting funny. My airbag light came on and my radio, a/c wouldn't work, turn signals weren't working and my windows would not roll up. I took it into Toyota and they have no idea what's wrong with it. Has anyone else had something similar happen to their tC? Hopefully I can get my car back soon, the Chrysler Sebring Conv. Rental that they gave me is a POS!

Sounds like the alternator died/ got disconnected...check & make sure all the wires are still connected. Had that happen on another car, everything just systematically just started dying until the car finally did. After some searching the shop said after we had had a motor mount replaced they for some reason had disconnected the alternator and it basically ran off of the battery for about 20 miles.

The only mods I've done recently are my VRD fogs. I know that the installation was flawless and they worked fine today even though everything else wasn't working. The car is at Toyota and I should be hearing from the tomorrow. I'm hoping it's nothing too serious. I really haven't done much with the car. I'll keep you guys posted.

Problem solved, 10amp gauge fuse under the dash made all that trouble. Ironic, given the label I figured it would only take out the cluster. Instead it took out everything not related to the cluster. Also I know now how this was caused. My aftermarket fog lights fuse housing somehow ended up having an exposed wire which touched metal in the engine bay. Normally in this situation the fuse to the fog lights would blow. Instead It blew up with enough heat to melt and fuse itself back together allowing the fuse to now hold more amperage and now carrying the current to the next weakest link in the circuit which was one of my fog light bulbs and and also the fuse the made all the trouble with other accessories. I sure learned a lot from this mess.
