Ok so yesterday morning i wake up about 8 o'clock becuase my dad gets me up. I'm like "what the hell!?" So i get up and he tells me to look at my car... as i look out the window, all over my BSP tC is this white and yellow crap. I dart out the door and look closely at it. IT'S EGGS!! Some punk kids decided to throw TWO DOZEN eggs at my car!!! They are all over the driveway and all over my car. And they also decided to use soap and write all over my glass, they used some VERY inappopriate language.

So I IMMEDIATELY begin cleaning and it comes off relativly easy, i had waxed my car a couple days ago so it i think that really helped. Now once I'm done, i look over the car thoroughly. Now it's not one, not two... but FIVE places where the eggs took out nice chunks of my paint, not to mention permanent chips and marks on the glass from where eggs hit the glass.

I have no idea who would do this, i seriously have no enemies. Me and my dad think it was just punk kids out at night and got bored. I don't know if insurance would pay to get parts of the car repainted or buffed or something, probably not. But it just sickens me everytime i see those spots, i don't think my BSP tC will ever be the same, it just seems there is a new spot of egg I missed everywhere on the car everytime i look. I've washed it 3 times since and I keep finding missed spots!!

Any recommendations on how to get the shine back? Sorry for having no pics guys

Those circular impact marks on the paint suck. Had my old Matrix egged once. Never could work them out (chips too wide and deep), but touchup paint helps.

 

::damn, we should have used the permanent markers and the glue instead of the eggs::...

okok... I'm kidding.. I would die if my BSP was a victim to such a thing... Sorry to hear that...next time put a little remote camera watching your car and recording the video feeds to your computer using Divx compression so it will last for days...just a thought..

Your insurance should cover it. Falls under theft and vandalism. I'd file a police report that will help with insurance. Think it is part of your comprehensive coverage. Check it out man as long as your deductible is less than the repairs

Were you parked in your driveway? Homeowner's insurance may cover it as well.

If not, I totally agree with those that have said call the cops and report it to your insurance. Unless your deductable is sky high...

If you just go the touchup paint route, BE SURE to get it from a dealership...

my eclipse was egged, and paintballed, but the only problem i find with your story is this...everyone has enemies. The reason i know this is because i keep myself off the radar. I have my girlfriend, friends, and family but even at that there is always someone out there that will just think.....hey remember that guy, oh yea that guy was ___ (or whatever they say) go get eggs and boom...theres you car....secondly, if you say it was 2 dozen eggs, damn thats a lot of eggs for someone who is just doing somthing "random" to do. to many eggs+no enemies=bs

Thats why I said the story was hilarious. I guarantee you have enemies. 2 dozen eggs cost at least $5. You telling me someone spent $5 just to egg 1 car? I have seen cars egged before, but you see the term car(s). Plural. Meaning it was a prank and kids were messing around throwing 1 or 2 eggs to each car, usually on the glass part. You are saying you got paint chipped and dents? That means someone threw some eggs pretty damn fast to do that much damage. You either got enemies or people that just don't like you.

No one has proven or disproven it was one or more cars.

Some people have more $ than brains. Imagine that, yanking all the eggs out of their parents fridges... hmm that could be what.. a few dozen.

Pranking can be messy, but those with the "egging" mentallity may be looking for a nice canvas to paint on... simple as that.

Saying that someone "MUST" have enemies because they were victoms of an egg assualt is .. I guess one way to look at it... a negative, yet your way I suppose.
