dang...how'd you get 71k in 2-3 years? i've had my 06' and it's only at 40k. no problems at all.

Just contact one of the NJ Lemon Lawyers I provided in my post on the first page. Call them up, explain your story with every detail and they'll take it from there. I'm sure you have a case here. Let the lawyers deal with the customer service department at the dealership. They'll keep you informed on their progress and things will happen. FAST.

 

Im going to do that. and No its not my clutch, and I work far away, thats how I got the mileage, unless my odometer reads wrong too.

 

I'm not from New Jersey, but Chicago (and Illinois for that matter) have damn similar laws.

First off, your car is a lemon, since the first occurance occurred within 18k. Second, even if its NOT a lemon, your 100k warranty covers the drivetrain at the very least...which includes your engine and transmission (among lots of other things non-electrical). Third, since this IS warranty work, if they decide to 'tear down' your engine for an inspection, thats part of the warranty work. They can't charge you $1,000+ for something that Toyota covers. Thats like buying an oil change, but having to provide the filter, oil and hydraulic lift yourself.

Your dealership(s) are just being lazy as ****.

How much am I still spending. lmao. Six grand is going to PTuning. lol, Motor, mount, radiator, fans, gauges, and all that stuff probably about 7 or 8 grand. Trans was like 5 or 6 all done with LSD and all. Not worth it at all. But screw it. It'll be fun.
