I am like a lot of us on the forum and want to cut my ears off when I drive my car down the road. I love my car, dont get me wrong, but it rattles like crazy. I figured a good way of stress relief is to post a "My car rattles like...."

I have heard "My car rattles/squeaks like Tila Tequila's mattress"

My personal car rattles like a Yatzee! shaker full of dice.

my 05 has 47,000 mlies on it and rattles like........ an empty can, cause mine has no rattles.

yep, mine rattles too. It's been like that from nearly new. The panel between the radio and the dash (at the bottom where the flap comes down) is the worst right now. Although my car is in having the roof lining replaced since that's come loose and has been rattling like made.

But when it comes down to it, the noise of the engine and the music drown it all out. It's just when I'm on the phone when it annoys me

I noticed my car was rattling today when sitting at a red light... I think it's because of my new Injen intake I just installed.... I think I better re-check it. lol

 

my 08 rattles like a dumpster full of cans.. if i had the money i'd get rid of it in a heart beat... Cheap!

Did you install the Doc. I. fender panel? It's supposed to prevent movement of the intake, but, ironically, the panel itself made a lot of noise when I installed it. I found the plastic would rattle against the metal frame in one area, creating a rattle when the engine was idling. Easily fixed by putting some foam tape between the plastic and the metal. The intake itself can also rattle if you haven't tightened the mounts enough, or if the mounts are broken.
