We've all heard the nightmares of randomly shattering sunroof panels, but while looking around on eBay I found this banged up, but still running tC.

That car took a licking and kept on ticking. I wonder what causes some of our sunroofs to explode randomly, yet this car can take a beating from all sides losing two side windows and front and rear windhsields, but while keeping it's roof intact!

By the way, notice the sunroof actually still functions!!

I saw this car on ebay earlier and that was the first thing that came to my mind too!!!

 

form the way it has all those majorly damaged sides...specially the interior...HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY DO THAT?!?!

Notice even though the back trunk inside is majorly beat up, how does it still open?
How did the drivers seat get that rip as well as the door panel?

But yea, that sunroof is about the only thing that would be worth buyin it for. at the rate everyones glass shatters...

btw...is that the spair we have in our trunk? damn that one ugly @$$ spare...
btw #2, is our car really worth $19,215 in KBB?? Id sell mine to her =)

Yes, that is the spare in the trunk... worst part is that only ONE SIDE is like that. The other side is black. I'm going to spray paint the ugly side to match.

 

The driver's seat is ripped because of the side impact air bags... they are in the seat, so obviously it went off on that side. The door panel could be ripped for the same reason.

Also, that is our spare. The ugly color is meant to encourage people to change it ASAP instead of riding it. And, no, you won't get $19k for your stock, used, tC.

 

might be worth it for the engine and tranny nice to mess around with and if you break it throw your's back in

yeah i saw that. i couldn't understand how the roof could take that impact and not shatter, but for some people, they are just driving and it shatters for no reason.

also, you should check out the "drifting" video i posted...you know, the one of the douche guy pulling the ebrake at a car test, then getting stopped by the people in charge. they have the sunroof all the way open...with that kind of flexing, i would be a little scared something would happen to the roof
