need help!
alright well I'm driving to school and I'm coasting to a stop light and i hear this noise coming from what sounds like my right front wheel area. it sounds kinda like grinding? i don't think that thats the correct term but its something like that. i checked my brakes and all that and everything checked out fine. maybe i didn't see the problem
anyone know what it is and can help me?
it comes and goes. its happening again. it happened a few months ago and it went away til now. i cant really describe the sound cause i dont know the word for it.. :b but its kinda like griding i guess? it happens when im coasting at about 40 and under and yes i had hit this bump in the road going to school if that helps.
Everyone’s first guess is going to be brakes. Either worn pads, or maybe the keeper tabs. If its deep grinding noise, it could be worn pads, if its a high pitched squeek, it could be the keeper tabs. Those are probably your best case scenarios. Also, I just checked with some of our mechanics, and they suggested you have a mechanic look at it. It could be something that is covered under warranty. I might not mention hitting anything
