Default Need help on clicking noise

Hey guys, I need you thoughts on what this could be. So today i was driving my car and suddenly i started to hear a light clicking noise somewhere around the passengers side. At idle there is no click, but one i press the gas and get the rpm up the clicking gets faster and faster. The click also is heard when i'm just letting the car roll in motion also.

Any ideas on what this possibly could be?

FM 06 AT Scion TC

Thanks,

just had the same problem a month ago..There a few things...

The first is it could be rocks imbedded into the tread of the tire..My problem was that the rear rotors were being scrapped against the caliper really badly and needed to be repositioned...Once i got my tires rotated they showed me that the rear rotors and pad on the passenger side were completely gone...

Did you install new tires recently? It's probably what ^^ said: rocks in the tread. It stops once the culprit rock gets out. This happened to me for about a week or so after I got new tires.

If it persists for a while like over a week or two, then most likely something else. So see if you notice anything else besides just the noise.

actually i fixed the problem. it's weird because it has nothing to do with the rotors or wheels. so it was coming from the speakers and found out that if you leave the aux cable plugged into the arm rest with nothing attatched (like ipod or anything) it make a clicking noise. the strange part is that the clicking noise follows the rpms. so i switched from aux>cd>aux>cd and it's gone.i thought it was the rotors too at first.
